PreConstruct AI is built in Ontario, and every plan is priced in USD so the price is the same for every contractor, in Canada or the US, and a founding price stays locked in one currency. Your card is charged in US dollars and your bank converts it at its own rate; some Canadian credit cards add a foreign transaction fee, which a card without one avoids. The first bid is free, so nothing is charged until you choose a plan.

What uses a credit
One drawing set of up to 75 sheets is 1 credit, which covers almost every interior fit-out and multi-family set. Bigger sets use more, because they cost us more to read — and you always see the cost before confirming. No surprises.
- • Credits are for the month they are granted in and do not carry over. Pick the plan that matches a normal month rather than your busiest one — you can move up for a single month and back down after.
- • Re-running detection on an unchanged document is free — the cached result is reused.
- • A genuine re-run after a revision uses a bid (1 credit), and tells you so before you confirm.
- • Drawing the walls, editing quantities and producing estimates and proposals cost nothing. A bid is spent when a set is read (uses 1 credit).
